Wanda is the Founder and CEO of Sirrah Coaching and Consulting.
She is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, certified Job
and Career Transition Coach, certified Image Consultant,
(through the internationally known London Image Institute),
volunteer (and former Board Member) with the local Dress
for Success™ affiliate, and has been certified by the
Professional Woman Network as a Branding Consultant. Her
life is testament to the fact that it is never too late to
pursue your dreams, follow your passion, re-position, or
reinvent yourself!
Sirrah Coaching and Consulting was created to help others
align, refine, and re-define their inner and outer image,
in a way that is both polished and authentic. Wanda offers
one-on-one coaching and also conducts interactive workshops
for youth, women, college students, and professional organizations.
Presentation topics include: The Art of the Interview, Dressing
for the Job You Want, Business Etiquette, Networking, Creating
a Polished Professional Image, and What is Beautiful is Good:
Embracing the Importance of Image Management.
With over 20 years experience as a federal employee, Wanda
has learned a lot about workplace dynamics, networking, self-marketing,
and the power of good interpersonal skills. For the past
6 years, she has worked as an HR Specialist in the areas
of training and employee development. Among her many accomplishments,
Wanda holds a bachelors degree in Sociology from the University
of North Carolina, at Chapel Hill, a Masters in Business
Administration from American Intercontinental University,
a certificate in Human Resource Management, from Duke University,
and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Organizational
Psychology, through Walden University.
Wanda also belongs to a number of professional organizations,
including: the American Psychological Association (APA),
the Society for Human Resource Management-Triangle Chapter
(TSHRM), the Triangle Organizational Development Network
(TODN), the Association of Image Consultants International
(AICI), the National Career Development Association (NCDA),
and National Association of Female Executives (NAFE).
She currently resides in Durham, North Carolina with her
family.
