• I'm a former elementary school teacher of 25 years, and I also do training and coaching in the area of emotional intelligence.

The reason I entered education was to have a positive impact on the lives of children. For 25 years, I dedicated myself to each and every student who walked through my door. Some years were easy and others were very challenging, but all of it, rewarding! Along the way, I immersed myself in emotional intelligence and found it to be such a valuable gift. It's the kind of gift we need to make sure every child is receiving. I'm a strong proponent of putting SEL (social and emotional learning) and SEE Learning front and center in our public schools. I wrote this book for our most precious of learners, primary grade students.
