Jennifer Buchholz is the owner of Transform via Travel, where she coaches women to go on journeys of self-discovery using solo travel as a means to get out of their comfort zone.
This business evolved organically as a combination of her professional and academic background as well as her personal travels and growth. Jennifer holds a BA in Communication and an MA in Human Resource Development. Professionally, she's worked in financial services and leadership training and development for the majority of her career. She also has been an adjunct faculty member for over 15 years at various universities teaching leadership courses as well as a variety of other topics.
While she's been a solo traveler for years, she took her first solo trip abroad at age 40 to New Zealand and spent time intentionally working through some things she'd been dealing with after an especially rough year. During that trip, she read, took walks, spent quiet time with herself, and journaled. She also truly enjoyed exploring a new country. New Zealand is her "place" to get reconnected with herself and her purpose.
Now, her career involves being an entrepreneur, coach, networker and innovator. She will be launching a grand new initiative for solo travelers in 2016 and will continue to encourage women to Go Solo!
