Remove the Mask! Living an Authentic Life
Ms. Yolanda Elaine Black is the founder and visionary of
Y. E. Black & Associates, where the motto is Empowerment,
Encouragement, and Excellence. Ms. Black is a certified diversity
trainer with the Professional Woman Network, with special
emphasis in Women’s Issues.
Soon after graduating from high school, Ms. Black left her
hometown of Sanford, North Carolina to join the United States
Army. After proudly serving her country over seven years,
she assumed her duties as a full-time mother; while supporting
her husband’s military career. She earned an Associate’s
Degree in Business Administration from American InterContinental
University in 2005. She is currently attending Central Texas
College with a goal of earning a degree in Social Work Specialization.
Ms. Black has the ability to make everyone she comes in
contact with feel special. She desires to help people realize
their potential and believe in themselves. Her daughter has
inspired her to write a series of self esteem books, to be
released in 2010. Her hobbies are singing, traveling, writing,
and spending time with family. She currently resides in Fort
Hood, Texas with her wonderful husband of 12 years (Calvin),
and two beautiful, hilarious children (Alandria and Aarien).
Ms. Black would like to thank her family, church family
in Olivia, North Carolina, friends and Ms. Linda Ellis-Eastman
for this wonderful opportunity.
